Sharon Yardley

Sharon Yardley has a finance career spanning almost 25 years. She joined Heartland in 2004 as Executive Assistant at Australian Seniors Finance, before the business was acquired by Heartland in 2014 and eventually became Heartland Finance, Heartland’s reverse mortgage business in Australia.

At Heartland Finance, Sharon held a variety of roles over her almost 20 years in the business. As Head of Operations, Risk and Compliance, Sharon was responsible for operations, communications, regulatory compliance, and credit risk framework. She was appointed General Manager, Reverse Mortgages in 2023 where, in addition to the responsibilities noted previously, she had responsibility for the reverse mortgage business’ distribution. As Chief Compliance & Sustainability Officer, Sharon has responsibility for compliance and regulator engagement for Heartland Bank in Australia, and for progressing Heartland’s sustainability framework in an Australian context. She has a Master of Business Administration.
