Phoebe joined Heartland in 2020 as Associate General Counsel and was promoted to General Counsel in June 2022, leading the Legal team. Phoebe also leads the Communications and Investor Relations team. This role provides a shared resource into Heartland Group.
During her time at Heartland, Phoebe has advised on a range of matters of strategic significance to the Group and its businesses, including corporate, finance and capital and debt markets transactions, as well as preparing for the significant volume of regulatory change in the New Zealand and Australian financial services sector.
Prior to working at Heartland, Phoebe was a Senior Associate at a large commercial law firm in Auckland.
